Web Development & Hosting
What do we mean when we say development and hosting? Here is how it works.
Development
Web site development
When we say that we develop a web site, we mean that we use a template (either purchased or freely given under the Creative Commons license) as the foundation for the site. In other words, we do not design the web pages used. Instead, we work with what someone else has designed and bring it to life for your site. Credit is always given to the designer.
Hosting
Web site hosting
A site needs an IP address so that when someone types in your site name, it goes to the correct address. We host many sites, so the hosting company we use gives us a bulk rate. Because of this, we pass the savings along to you.
Your role
What is your role?
If you want to do most of the work, we will be happy to guide you along the way, answering any questions you may have. If you want us to do most of the work, we will listen to your hopes and desires and work to make those a reality.
We will listen and work with you as little or as much as you want. Find the information on our contact page. Looking forward to hearing from you!
